In an effort to help combat reliance on fossil fue

In an effort to help combat reliance on fossil fuels, the Washington State Ferries are beta testing Dragon Cloud power.
Yes, this little known form of renewable energy is extremely abundant here in the PNW. The dragon clouds are formed by combining Dick’s hamburgers, Tully’s coffee and rain water into a brew and tossing it into one of the many local volcanoes.

Sometimes in life, especially during the trying times it seems that the fog of stress envelops us.
Please remember that the sun will return and transform the fog into usable water.
For me, looking at my stressors as lessons to be learned really help.

While visiting these sweet baby barred owls, I bro

While visiting these sweet baby barred owls, I brought along my friend Mindy. We walked along the trails of one of our local parks when we came upon two owlets 🥰 We spent a long time just enjoying them and their cuteness. One of the babies was preening when it released this floofy feather. The feather floated down and landed perfectly in Mindy’s hand. Later she told me that her mom always sends her feathers. 🥰❤️✨

Not sure how I feel about these ai enhancements…fun but kind of sad knowing I did not actually see the northern lights during this shoot. My photo of the mountains and its surrounding nature is all real but ai added the lights and the log in the foreground. Wild wacky stuff here so I wanted to let everyone know that I will be completely up front if any AI was used in the creation of my art. 💜

Anytime I do a photoshoot for a person or an event

Anytime I do a photoshoot for a person or an event, I always take a walk afterwards to find some nature and reflect.

Recently, I’ve noticed that the nature I find sometimes seems to represent the energy of that particular shoot.

After photographing a very sleepy newborn, I came across this crow sleeping in a tree.

Then after an event for a wonderful local lady, an Anna’s hummingbird who lives in our local marsh visited for quite a while. The lady I photographed the event for is an advocate for the environment and has worked to save our marsh. 💚❤️

Looking for and noticing these little synchronicities is so rewarding. 📸❤️
